About our famous Stained Glass Windows

We've received a lot of press and numerous tour groups since our stained glass windows project was completed in 2010. Our current church has always had three windows up front one each for the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. But the other 20 windows were plain with a rose-colored glass. In 2009 one couple in our church asked if they could try to make a stained glass window. The only training either of them had was a class one had taken 25 years ago.

When our congregation saw the first window, their sponsorships were spoken for before we could blink an eye. Ralf and Carolyn set to work and in a miraculously short time span of 18 months, the windows were completed and installed.

The windows on the south side of the sanctuary depict various symbols of our faith. The windows on the north side depict key scenes from Jesus' life. The windows in the choir loft show two angels and a dove descending on the world. The two windows in the narthex entryway depict the Garden of Eden.

We encourage you to worship with us and take some time afterwards to enjoy our windows up close. See if you can find the special feature contained in the Crucifixion window!
