A Time to Remember and Honor
On Nov 1st, we will pause to remember the saints who have gone before us - those that have touched our lives and our hearts.
You are invited to bring a photo or other remembrance that represents a deceased on you would like to honor.
Following the service, the youth are sponsoring a pot-luck dinner to help provide additional time for visits and reminiscenses.
Annual Congregational Budget Meeting - Nov 8th
Make plans to attend! During this meeting, voting will occur for the 2027 budget and council members.

Benefiting Burton Bridge Ministries
This year’s fest will be held at the White Horse Tavern in Burton on Nov 8th from 5-8. Tickets are $ 20 and include food and beverage. See Barbara for additional information and tickets.
Our church youth lead worship on Aug 9th. They lead us in responsive readings and prayers, read various Bible passages, and provided a thought provoking message about sharing. WE prayed over our youth and teachers for the upcoming school year. Callum shared his confirmation faith message. The Hilltop Ramblers provided music selected by the youth. Following the service, all celebrated pizza, ice cream and cake!

Big thank-you to the cooks whose hands loving provided meals each evening!
A special shout out to Waldine, Rebekah, and Lacy for the planning, decorating, and whatever else needed to be done!
Don’t forget all the volunteers who donated their time to teach, corral kids, gather supplies, or fill in!
And thank you to all the parents who brought their kids and their friends!
And finally thank you to all the kids who attended!
Sad to say, VBS 2026 is over.

The Church celebrated the men of GELC with a youth sponsored event on Sunday, June 7th! Following a casual dress worship service with special music by the Hilltop Rambles, members gather under the trees for outdoor cooking and fellowship! Hamburgers and hot dogs served. Marilyn was the winner of Bingo, while “ole timers” Dale and Troy won at the bean bag toss against the " youth!

Ladies Brunch
The contributions and work of the ladies of Greenvine Emmanuel Lutheran Church, were recognized at a brunch on Sunday, May 10th. And following the worship service, each lady was presented with a rose. Thank you to our youth for sponsoring this event!

Many thanks to all the hands that worked together to bring an amazing Lenten season, followed by the joy-filled celebration of Easter! From reflective Wed eve services to Easter Sunday worship followed by a great breakfast and Easter egg hunt for the kids, it was awesome!

A Different Way to Give
Greenvine is excited to announce a new giving source. Tithely! Tithely is user-friendly and used by millions of chirches including some of our local churches. You can set up how often and how much you would like to give. Your contribution will automatically be deducted from yur bank account. Even if you are not able to make it to church one Sunday, you can still give through Tithely. If you have any questions, please do hesitate to contact Alexia Antkowiak for help!
Blessing Box
A Blessing Box has been placed outside the White Horse Tavern in Burton. The purpose of the box is to provide anyone in need with food. The food might provide some relief so that utilities bills or rent can be paid! Summer is a particular hard time for kids since many rely on daily meals provided through the schools. Consider donating easy to open items for children, dried goods, or canned goods, or easy to prepare items that can survive the summer heat for the Blessing Box.
These items can be placed in the narthex of the church or directly in the Blessing Box.
